Your account has either been locked out intentionally by MIS, or you have attempted to login more than three times with the incorrect password. Contact MIS by calling 267-3296.

POP Instructions

You can retrieve your messages with a client or device that supports POP, like Microsoft Outlook or Netscape Mail.

To enable POP in your mail account:

1. Log in to your mail account at email.bahcnm.org.

2. Click Settings at the top of any mail page.

3. Click Forwarding and POP in the orange Mail Settings box.




4. Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.

5. Choose the action you'd like your messages to take after they are accessed with POP.

6. Click Save Changes.

7. Open Outlook or Outlook Express.

8. Click the 'Tools' menu, and select 'Accounts...'


9. Click 'Add,' and then click 'Mail...'


10. Enter your name in the 'Display name:' field, and click 'Next.'


11. Enter your full email address (ex.: 'rlandavazo@bahcnm.org') in the 'Email address:' field, and click 'Next.'

12. Enter 'pop.gmail.com' in the 'Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:' field. Enter 'smtp.gmail.com' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:' field.

13. Click 'Next.'

14. Enter your full email address (ex.: 'rlandavazo@bahcnm.org') in the 'Account name:' field. Enter your password in the 'Password:' field, and click 'Next.'

15. Click 'Finish.'

16. Highlight 'pop.gmail.com' under 'Account,' and click 'Properties.'

17. Click the 'Advanced' tab.

18. Check the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' under 'Outgoing Mail (SMTP).'

19. Enter '465' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP):' field.

20. Check the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' under 'Incoming mail (POP3).' The port will change to 995.
*The order of 'Outgoing' and 'Incoming' mail server fields varies by version. Make sure you enter the correct information in each field.


21. Click the 'Servers' tab, and check the box next to 'My server requires authentication.'

22. Click 'OK.'
